Pemba boasts a tropical climate that's relatively mild compared to mainland Tanzania. With an average temperature of around 25.5°C (78°F) and two distinct rainy seasons – April to May(Major) and November to December (Minor) – you'll find the island lush and vibrant.

Peak Season

The high tourism season, from June to January, promises pleasant weather and clear skies, making it a popular time for travelers.

Off-Season:

From January to February, as well as during the short rainy season from April to June, Pemba Island sees fewer visitors.
